Adele has performed in stadiums around the world but it seems even she experiences stage fright.
The British singer was forced to restart her song ‘Easy On Me’ during her ITV concert special, An Audience with Adele, which aired in the UK on Sunday.
The 33-year-old was a few lines into song when she abruptly stopped the performance.
“No stop, start again! I’m s—ting myself,” she told the crowd, who were delighted by her honesty.

The singer later said she felt overwhelmed being back home and on stage — she hadn’t performed in the UK since her Wembley Stadium shows in 2017.
“I got really emotional. I haven’t been home for so long and I haven’t played a show here for so long,” she told the star-studded audience which featured stars such as Andrew Lloyd Webber, Naomi Campbell and Boy George.
“I’m very, very nervous! Course I bloody am.”

“I’m a big fan of An Audience With…,” she admitted of the ITV series special. “It used to be the highlight of my life whenever it was on … I’m so thrilled to be doing it tonight, very very excited.”
The star was also brought to tears on stage during the live concert after an emotional reunion with her old English teacher, Ms McDonald.
“Oh my God, you really did change my life. I haven’t seen you since I was like, 12,” the singer said as they embraced.

Following her comeback concert, Adele took to social media to reflect on the emotional evening.
“Home Sweet Home. I’ve always dreamt of doing An Audience With… There was so much love in the room for each other, it felt like such a gig!” she wrote on both Instagram and Twitter.
“Everyone was raucous and bang up for it! And my teacher Ms McDonald was there, it was just heaven.”
