The mayor of Hyattsville, Maryland, which is located just outside of Washington, DC, is dead at the age of 44. Police are calling his death a “suicide,” but MTO News spoke with a family member and a friend who think that the death deserves further investigation.

“It is with great sadness that we report that our beloved Hyattsville Mayor Kevin Ward passed away yesterday, January 25, from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound,” a post on the official website for Hyattsville said on Wednesday. “Mayor Ward was a valued and trusted leader and a fierce advocate for all the people of Hyattsville. We are heartbroken at this loss and extend our deepest sympathy to his family.”

Roommates, According to TMZ, Chris Brown is accused of raping a woman on Dec. 30, 2020. The woman who is a singer claims Chris grabbed the phone of a friend she was FaceTiming and urged her to come to Diddy’s home on Miami’s Star Island, to which she agreed. Upon arrival, she claims Chris approached her and asked her if she wanted a drink, then motioning her toward the kitchen area on the yacht.

Court documents state the woman entered the kitchen with Chris, drinking a mixed drink he gave her while engaging in conversation. However, after a second drink, the woman began to feel a sudden, unexplained change in consciousness. The lawsuit continues stating the woman felt disoriented, physically unstable, and started to fall in and out of sleep, and that’s when she claims Chris led her into a bedroom.

In her first post since his unexpected death, the 32-year-old touched on the actor’s “unconditional love” and the lessons he taught her. She shared the heartfelt message alongside a black-and-white throwback of the two.

“To anyone afraid to love, Unconditional love is the greatest of gifts. My dad loved with everything he had. He had so many reasons to be scared to love. So many loved ones kept dropping the body,” Lara wrote. “Instead of being scared, he loved more. I am beyond grateful to receive and to give that love.”

“Love completely and be kind. Of all the lessons he taught me, these feel the biggest,” she continued, adding, “With love .”
