A popular Chicago rapper named 051 Kymeon is going viral on social media, after he posted a video showing someone – possibly himself – cutting off an ankle monitor bracelet, MTO News has learned.
The video, which is captioned, “Finna book my flight now,” suggests that the rapper planned on leaving Chicago and getting on an airplane.
MTO News was unable to confirm whether or not 051 Kymeon is currently on home confinement, or whether this video was a prank video.
But his fans and followers believe that the video is real – and they are flooding the rapper’s comments with messages surrounding the video.
The rapper is affiliated with the notorious Chicago gang 051 Young Money, which is a mixed set filled with multiple members from other gangs such as renegade Mickey Cobras, Black P. Stones, Gangster Disciples, Black Disciples and more.
051 Young Money is located on 51st and Cottage Grove in Chicago, Illinois. This particular set of the Mickey Cobras is currently at war with multiple other gangs in the city, most notably the Black Disciples gang. 051 Young Money also goes by the names of “Loose Screws¨, “LCMG”, “Fatz Gang”, “Streetz Ville”, “Marc Block”, “Zeko World”, “Lance Land”, “Los City”, ¨MellyWay¨ in honor of fallen members.
051 Young Money would first start gaining attention in 2013 after two of the members named “Lil Mick” and “Rockhead/Rocko” were charged with the murder of upcoming rapper L’A Capone. L’A Capone was also affiliated with the Black Disciple set “600” which heavily beefed with 051 Young Money. In 2012, a 14-year-old 051 Young Money member named Fathead was killed by 600 where a witness would claim to see Cdai (600), D. Rose (600), and L’A Capone (600) at the murder scene which lead to L’A Capone getting killed as revenge.According to the Chicago police,
