There’s a lyric on Drake’s new song that is raising a couple of eyebrows.

Though he doesn’t mention her by name, people think that he’s hinting about the long-standing rumour that he’s slept with Kim Kardashian.

On the track ‘Wants and Needs’, he name-drops Kardashian’s husband Kanye West: “Yeah, I probably go link to Yeezy I need me some Jesus / But as soon as I start confessin’ my sins, he wouldn’t believe us.”

Back in 2018, many lyrics on his album Scorpion led fans to believe that the pair had had an affair. Most notably, he included the name ‘KiKi’ in his song ‘In My Feelings’, which is Kardashian’s nickname.

Kardashian silenced the accusations commenting, “Never happened. End of story,” on The Shade Room’s Instagram post.

Later that year, Kanye slammed Drake in a series of tweets for following Kardashian on Instagram.

“I never knew till this morning that Drake followed my wife on Instagram back in September,” Kanye tweeted in December 2018. “I had to bring this up because it’s the most f–ked up thing of all and I just saw it this morning.”

Kardashian and Kanye filed for divorce last month after rumours of a rift between them. There’s no solid proof that the reality star ever had a relationship with Drake, but fans certainly think the lyrics mean something.
