Judi Dench’s grandson is ‘Perfect’… as Ed Sheeran’s doppelgänger.
Samuel Williams looks so much like the singer that, according to Dench, he is occasionally “mobbed” by fans who are desperate to take a photo with the man they think is the four-time Grammy award-winning singer.
In a new interview with The Sun, Williams recalled a time when he was mistaken for the 30-year-old singer at one of his concerts, recalling excited fans crowding him wanting autographs and photos.
“I was in the crowd at one of his shows and a lot of people wanted their photo with me and it became very tight,” Williams told the outlet.
“People were jumping around and jumping over to get a photo.”

Although Williams told them repeatedly he wasn’t Ed Sheeran and asked them to stop, they kept trying to take photos.
“I was like, ‘I am not Ed Sheeran guys. Will you stop,” he said.
Luckily, the real Ed Sheeran stepped in to save the day. He sent his security guard in to help get Williams out of the crowd.
“He said, ‘Oh yeah I sent him out. You needed the help’,” Williams recalled Sheeran saying.

It’s not a bad comparison for Williams, who admitted he’s a huge fan of the singer.
“I have tattoos of Ed’s albums [names] on my wrist. I have ‘Plus’, ‘Divide’, ‘Add’ and ‘Multiply’,” he revealed in a chat with Dame Judi at London’s Garrick Theatre. “I became a human calculator.”
The 24-year-old added that he’s actually met his famous doppelgänger twice, saying he’s “the most down-to-earth guy.”
