Reality TV star Ramona Singer has laughed off an Instagram fail she experienced recently when she accidentally posted screenshots of one six-figure bank statement.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the Real Housewives of New York City star explained that her mobile phone underwent some updates and the confusion caused her to post the wrong image.
“I’m not good with this technology stuff,” Ramona said. “You know, your phone updates without you wanting to update it. So basically it was, when I want to post something on Instagram or something, it’ll take the photos I’ve taken instead of a recent one.”
Weeks before her accidental post, the 64-year-old also raised eyebrows when she shared a screenshot of her phone’s calculator, in which she appeared to be crunching numbers.
“So, I did something on my calculator. I had to calculate something. It came out to be, what? 13,000-something, I don’t know. And that got posted,” she recalled.
It wasn’t until her 25-year-old daughter Avery and Singer’s assistants brought it to her attention that she deleted the posts.
“And then my associate, my assistant, I needed to see if I got paid for something, some cameo appearances, I think it was $7,500,” Singer said.
“So I took a screenshot of one of my bank accounts — I have many bank accounts, that’s just one of them — I took a screenshot of that bank account and somehow it went on my Instagram.”
It was back in February that Singer posted the screenshots to Instagram.
The reality star quickly deleted the post but fans took screenshots of her whopping balance, which on February 22 was US$367,483.70 (approx. $475,000).
“Well, at least people know I’ve got money in the bank!” she joked with ET.
