Hanks and Wilson, both 64, tied the knot on April 30, 1988 and share two sons, Chet, 29, and Truman, 24. Hanks has two children from his previous marriage, Colin, 42, and Elizabeth, 38.
Wilson and Hanks debuted their romance in 1986 at the premiere of his movie, Nothing in Common.
Last year, for the couple’s 32nd wedding anniversary, a source told Entertainment Tonight that their celebration will be extra-special following their health battle with coronavirus.
“They had to ride the wave of an illness that could have killed one or both of them,” the source said at the time. “Being apart from their children during the experience made them reflect on everything they have in life, especially each other. It has made them truly appreciate their love for one another and the life they have built.”
In March 2020, Hanks and Wilson made headlines when they both contracted COVID-19 during their trip to Australia. The duo were in Australia while Hanks was filming Baz Lurhmann’s Elvis Presley biopic.
